UK's main pro bono body appoints new chief

The Solicitors Pro Bono Group (SPBG) has today (31 March) confirmed the appointment of civil servant Robert Gill as its new chief executive.

Gill, a non-lawyer, has been acting chief since joining the SPBG on secondment from the Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA) last summer.
