Childs confirmed as CC's new chief

Clifford Chance’s (CC’s) partnership has elected David Childs to take over from Peter Cornell as global managing partner.

Childs, the magic circle firm’s chief operating officer (COO), stood unopposed for the role, which will run for a four-year term from 1 May.
