Haarmann Hemmelrath has split its legal and tax practice from its accountancy practice, forming two separate entities, as the troubled German firm overhauls its structure.

Haarmann Hemmelrath managing partner Alexander Hemmelrath confirmed to Legal Week the formation of Hemmelrath & Partners, a partnership entity that will house the legacy firm’s tax and legal practice. A separate entity, RSM Hemmelrath, will house its auditors.
