Slaughters in talks to transfer 40-lawyer Paris arm to Bredin Prat

Slaughter and May is in talks with Bredin Prat that could lead to the transfer of its 40-lawyer Paris office to its French ally, the magic circle firm has confirmed.

Slaughters began negotiations with Bredin Prat about six weeks ago over the future of its eight-partner office, which practices both French and UK law, as part of a review of the Paris practice.
