Simpson Thacher and CC win roles on £7bn Euro buyout

Simpson Thacher & Barlett and Clifford Chance (CC) have landed roles on Europe’s largest private equity bid, the £7bn buyout of Danish telecoms operator TDC.

The CC team, led by Keith Hyman and Robert MacVicar in London and John Healy in New York, advised TDC on US and UK law. The bid is Europe’s largest-ever private equity deal by value.
