A&O called on pan-Nordic telecoms deal

Allen & Overy (A&O) has bagged a lead role advising pan-Nordic telecommunications operator Telenor on its €1.035bn (£700m) acquisition of Sweden’s third largest mobile operator, Vodafone Sweden, from Vodafone Group.

A&O corporate partner Ian Ferguson led the deal, assisted by corporate partners Michael Scargill and Susan Howard and associates Jim Ford, Nigel Parker, Bronwen Jones and Elizabeth Walton.
