Outsourcing and consulting company Xafinity has appointed its first-ever head of legal. Peter Stahelin joins the company from the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC), where he oversaw legal and procurement advice for four years. Stahelin, who previously spent nine years in private practice as a corporate lawyer with Fladgate Fielder, is the company’s first senior in-house legal appointment.

Xafinity, which has annual revenues of £75m across eight UK offices, was brought into being earlier this year and is a division of Duke Street Capital.
