The Government today (17 October) pledged to press ahead with radical legal services reform in a move that will allow investors to buy law firms outright.

Unveiling the white paper produced in response to the 2004 report from Sir David Clementi, Lord Chancellor Lord Falconer confirmed that the Government will press ahead with the Prudential chairman’s most radical recommendations.
