Norton Rose has been instructed on a major mandate for new client Kazakhmys, advising the Kazakhstan-based copper mining company on its proposed IPO and listing on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), which could raise up to £668m.

The firm won the transaction, which is expected to generate between £563m and £668m, based on its business links and experience in Kazakhstan, such as acting for Alexander Mining in relation to its recent £20m admission to AIM.
