Leading UK firms are keeping on the bulk of their qualifying trainees this year, according to Legal Week research, as top London firms respond to the upturn in commercial activity.
A survey of the top 20 UK firms shows that more than eight out of 10 trainees are being kept on at major City firms, with the process for qualification in September now having been completed.
