The Office of the Legal Services Ombudsman (OLSO) last week unveiled its annual report, with the independent watchdog conceding that the Law Society has made a small improvement in complaintshandling.

Ombudsman Zahida Manzoor said she was satisfied with 62% of the complaints referred to her by Chancery Lane during 2004-05, a 9% improvement from the previous 12-month period but still some way short of the Government’s agreed target of three out of four cases.
