When Richard Norman joined computer manufacturer Dell in 1993 a puzzled colleague came up to him and said: “I did not know we had legal problems.”
“People did not know why we needed a lawyer,” explains Norman. “But you get past that and people realise you can work with the business.We find we are the intersection for many parts of it.”
