Kirkland Hires World Bank Legal Chief

Kirkland & Ellis has bulked up its bankruptcy practice with the hire of Gordon Johnson from the World Bank.

Johnson, who was chief legal adviser on commercial insolvency and creditor rights systems at the World Bank, becomes a partner in the Chicago leader’s respected New York branch.
