Simmons lands major Hong Kong rights deal

Simmons & Simmons has bagged the first major rights issue in Hong Kong this year and the second-largest in the country’s history, advising New World China Land Company on its HK$6.3bn (£425m) securities offering.

The issue, which comes amid tough market conditions for Asian companies, is the largest ever by a property company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
