National giant prepares to do battle with The Football League as trial is set for February

Hammonds is gearing up for a high-stakes courtroom battle as it emerges that a trial date in The Football League’s £150m negligence claim against the national firm has been set for February 2006.
Legal Week has learned that a hearing of 10 to 15 days has been scheduled for the claim, in what would be one of the largest claims against a UK law firm to see the inside of a courtroom.
