Allen & Overy Senior IT and business analyst, Sam Suri, is leaving the firm to run her own independent legal consultancy, The Working Practice.
Suri, who joined A&O as a lawyer before moving into a management role, is setting up in partnership with several other people, whose names have not been disclosed at the time of writing. She said the new consulting firm’s goal would be “to assist law firms and IT professionals in solving the conflicting requirements of the modern legal world – [by] maximising the time spent by lawyers on fee earning work and delivering to them legal practice solutions that work for them in a testing legal environment”.
