OFT names Lovells partner as new chair

Veteran Lovells competition partner Philip Collins has been confirmed as the new chair of the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).

The appointment was announced by trade secretary Patricia Hewitt earlier today (21 March) with Collins taking on one of the UK’s most high profile regulatory roles.
