US Senate approves Class Action Fairness legislation

The US Senate has passed the Class Action Fairness Act as the controversial legislation looks set to finally become law.

The highly partisan bill, which has been rejected several times thanks to Democratic opposition, was voted through on 10 February by 72 votes to 26.
