CC to shut down 10-partner Berlin arm in profits drive

Clifford Chance (CC) is to close its entire 10-partner Berlin office as part of a profitability drive.

The move follows a management review of profitability that was announced to the partnership internally last Friday (26 November), with the office scheduled to close by April/May 2005.
