Former Allen & Overy (A&O) partner Nick Segal, who quit for Davis Polk & Wardwell in March last year, has finally been voted into the New York leader’s partner-ship after being admitted to practise in the US.

Segal, who has spent the past 18 months as counsel at the firm, was admitted to practise in New York last month. Davis Polk’s partner-ship subsequently voted him into the equity, effective from 1 October.
