Slaughter and May is to vote on conversion to limited liability part-nership (LLP) status in what would be a highly symbolic move for the magic circle firm – and the UK legal profession.
It is understood the firm needs a 100% backing of its partnership order to push through the conversion, with a vote scheduled for later this month.
