This week’s target is Jeffery Barratt, head of the global projects group and global head of banking at Norton Rose.

This writing proved to be something of a conundrum to my fevered brain. On the one hand this rather distinctive script is not the easiest to read as it requires reading in context to be understood; whereas on the other hand this writer’s punctuation is a delight (i.e. clearly written and accurately placed). There is the possibility that this is a left hander [to a degree this would let him off the hook]. Otherwise I am drawn to the conclusion that he wrote this piece under sufferance, but his innate desire to be understood kicked in as far as his punctuation was concerned… for most adults, punctuation has become a reflex and so is placed unconsciously.
