Linklaters and Vinge are embroiled in talks with the Swedish Bar to revoke a ruling with bar advisers prohibiting law firms from acting for multiple clients in corporate auctions.
A group of law firms met with the bar on Wednesday (22 September) to press for a revision of an April ruling, which says “it is inconsistent with ethical standards to represent more than one bidder irrespective of client consent”.
