Macfarlanes finance partner Tom Speechley has advised Royal Bank of Scotland on the £39.5m senior and £7.5m mezzanine facilities for special purpose vehicle Ramen Acquisitions in relation to the £70m refinancing of restaurant chain The Wagamama Group. Wagamama and primary shareholder Graphite Capitol were advised by Travers Smith Braithwaite corporate partner Andrew Roberts.

Beachcroft Wansbroughs has advised the management of SLR Group on a £10m refinancing, with corporate partner Peter Jay leading the Beachcrofts team. Osborne Clarke corporate partner Hugh Jones advised Lloyds TSB, the senior lender.
