Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has bagged the role of lead adviser to GE Consumer Finance (GECF), the global consumer lending unit of General Electric, on its acquisition of Moscow-based Russian consumer bank DeltaBank.
The $150m (£82m) acquisition of DeltaBank, owned by Delta Russia Fund and the US-Russia Investment Fund, is General Electric’s largest single investment in Russia to date.
