Merger talks call NGJ alliance into question

The future of Nicholson Graham & Jones’ (NGJ’s) international alliance Globalex is in doubt as a result of the UK firm’s advanced merger talks with US suitor Kirkpatrick & Lockhart.

Globalex, which is branded as a strategic alliance, is made up of NGJ, US giant Foley & Lardner, Germany’s Thuemmel Schuetze & Partner, Sweden’s Setterwalls and Brussels-based Matray Matray & Hallet.
