Linklaters has scooped the lead role advising Centrica on its sale of the AA, a deal that is expected to value the breakdown services company at around £1.5bn.
The news has been welcomed by Link-laters lawyers operating in a sluggish M&A environment and is certain to disap-point rival City firms that advise Centrica.
