Credit Suisse First Boston: Urs Rohner has been appointed as the new group general counsel to Credit Suisse First Boston. Rohner, the chief operating officer of Swiss company ProSiebenSat 1 Media, takes up the post on 1 June. He will also be a member of the group executive board. David Frick will remain head of group legal and compliance.
Vodafone: Vodafone has appointed the head of technology media and telecoms at Osborne Clarke as its acting UK head of legal following the move by former UK head of legal Ian Robino to head up the information technology and intellectual property group for Vodafone group. Simon Rendell will take up the post until a permanent replacement is found.
