Linklaters Italy partner set to retain independence

Elite Italian firm Gianni Origoni Grippo & Partners has pledged to remain independent after formally ending its alliance with London giant Linklaters.

The announcement, made internally last Friday (12 March), brings to an end the five-year alliance from 2 April, with the two leading European firms admitting that the goal of an eventual merger was “unlikely”.
