Garrigues starts up latin legal alliance

Spanish giant Garrigues has launched its long-awaited Latin American alliance after securing an agreement with three of South America’s top law firms. The 1,100-lawyer former member of Andersen Legal has linked up with Argentine firm Bruchou Fernandez Madero Lombardi & Mitrani Abogados, Brazil’s Barbosa Muessnich & Aragao and Mexican firm Mijares Angoitia Cortes & Fuentes Abogados.

The alliance also includes Garrigues’ Portuguese ally Leonidas Matos & Associados.
