Salans and DLA link on £1bn motor outsourcing

Salans and DLA have combined to advise Ford Financial and Lex Vehicle Leasing (Lex) respectively on an outsourcing contract that is expected to be worth £1bn.

The deal saw Salans advise on the £130m disposal of the existing contract hire portfolio and vehicle fleet of Ford Financial’s Business Partner division, together with arrangements under which Lex, advised by DLA, will provide funding and maintenance services, under the Business Partner brand.
