Outsourcing in the UK has reached a new level of maturity and acceptance, this month’s Legal Director Benchmarker has found. Conducted in association with Wragge & Co, the survey of heads of legal at leading UK businesses found that very few companies plan to bring services currently outsourced back in-house when the existing arrangements expire.

Just 12% said that they were planning to do so – down from 17% in 2002 and 16% in 2001. One in five (19%) said they were undecided, while the majority (69%) said that they would not be bringing any services back in-house.
