The French national association of corporate counsel, the Association Francaise des Juristes d’Enterprise (AFJE), has launched an initiative to assist members undertaking global projects.
The group, led by Christina Franchi, legal director at AT&T UK, is aiming to amass all the services and information in-house lawyers need to operate in an international context.

The group will put together information on a variety of issues such as the cultural attitudes and linguistic nuance of complex commercial negotiations. It will also provide assistance
on how to manage a multinational legal department including information on technology, and access to legal materials for lawyers working outside their local areas.
