Standard Chartered Bank has appointed Addleshaw Goddard and Denton Wilde Sapte as its principal UK advisers following an 18-month panel review.

SJ Berwin has been appointed to act on transactional issues, and firms including Herbert Smith, Reed Smith, Bird & Bird and Burges Salmon have been appointed to advise on other areas. The bank last month retained Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance, Lovells and Slaughter and May as global legal advisers.
