CMS kicks off review to merge eight members

Leading European alliance CMS has launched a study into financial and management integration in what could be the first step towards creating a new 1,300-lawyer firm.

CMS chairman Robert Derry Evans, a partner at the dominant alliance member UK firm CMS Cameron McKenna, is overseeing the study into fully integrating the eight alliance firms’ 450 partners.
