Every law firm faces the growing challenge of providing its lawyers proper connectivity. The challenge increases with the number and location of offices. In a truly global organisation, wide area connectivity becomes a massive (and massively important) issue.
A global firm must address wide area connectivity in at least three ways. First, there is a need for carrying business critical data between and among the offices. Second, there is a need for internet connectivity, including internet e-mail. Third, there is a need to provide secure remote access capabilities for traveling lawyers and those working from home. Connectivity needs to have a continuous focus.
