The Legal Services Ombudsman, Zahida Manzoor, has accused the Law Society of overstating the performance of its complaints handling division.
Manzoor, who is due to assume new powers to fine the Law Society for regulatory failures, makes the charge in her latest report in which she cites “significant difficulties surrounding the integrity of its [the Office for the Supervision of Solicitors (OSS)] management information systems”.
