The Big Question: UK lawyers slam business law firms for dodging referral ban

The overwhelming majority of leading lawyers believe business law firms bend conduct rules banning the payment of referral fees – even though the majority say they have never been asked to pay for a referral.

The latest Legal Week/EJ Legal Big Question survey of more than 100 leading lawyers found 93% of our panel believe business law firms ‘get around’ the ban on paying for referrals.
