The UK’s top law firms have comprehensively failed to promote black and Asian lawyers to partnership, a survey by Legal Week Global‘s sister title, Legal Week, has found, despite a widespread push by firms to widen their intake of ethnic minority lawyers.
The survey of the UK’s top 20 firms by revenue found that an average of just 2.5% of their UK-based partners are non-white.
