Leading Irish law firm Arthur Cox has appointed Padraig O’Riordain as its new managing partner.

O’Riordain begins his term on 1 November, succeeding current head Eugene McCague, who finishes his four-year term to resume his corporate practice. O’Riordain started at Arthur Cox in 1993 and spent until 1996 heading up the firm’s New York arm before returning to Dublin. Arthur Cox chairman James O’Dwyer said: “Padraig is a highly skilled lawyer with a strong record of achievement on behalf of clients.
