UK corporate counsel are failing to make the most of what technology has to offer, even though they face an ever-increasing workload and are under constant pressure to cut costs, this month’s Legal Director Benchmarker – conducted in association with Oyez Legal Technologies – has found.

More than two-thirds (68%) of the 100 heads of legal or general counsel at the leading UK businesses surveyed reported that their team’s overall volume of work had increased in the past 12 months. Only a third said it had remained static, with just 6% saying it had decreased.
