Associated Press: Associated Press has appointed John Keitt as its first general counsel. Keitt joins from US law firm Dewey Ballantine where he advised Associated Press for more than 20 years. David Tomlin – assistant to the Associated Press president – has been appointed assistant general counsel.
AOL Europe: Robert Stankey, former associate general counsel corporate affairs at AOL Europe, joined the London office of Washington-based US law firm Covington & Burling on 14 July. Stankey who was with AOL Europe for three years, previously served as assistant general counsel international for America Online.
