Carnelutti wins court battle to own founder's name

Carnelutti has won the exclusive right to use the Carnelutti brand in the final chapter to the Italian leader’s long-running court battle with a rival firm.

The Milan Court of Appeal last month ruled that the 205-lawyer firm was the only practice with the right to use the name of founder Francesco Carnelutti, after an acrimonious five-year battle with breakaway firm Vita Samory Fabbrini e Associati.
