Kirch collapse leaves Macfarlanes ally with £1.3m in unpaid bills

Macfarlanes’ German ally, Noerr Stiefenhofer Lutz, has been left with £1.3m of unpaid bills, following the collapse of key client KirchMedia, it has emerged.

The Munich-based firm, one of Germany’s best known independent practices, is seeking to regain e1.8m (£1.3m) in fees from its former trophy client.
