LCD set for full-scale review of regulation

The Lord Chancellor’s Department (LCD) is set to launch a root-and-branch review of the regulation of the legal profession in England and Wales.

The LCD is finalising an announcement on the full terms of reference and scope of the review, although it is understood the review will look at proposals that could impact on the regulation of City firms and the clients that instruct them.
