The London arm of Wall Street giant Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has hired another two assistants to support its recent appointment of Ashurst Morris Crisp structured finance partner Stephen Short.
The latest appointments, which include Clifford Chance finance associate Gary Hamp, will give the firm six UK-qualified assistants in its London finance team to support partners Short and Euan Gorrie, the high-profile Allen & Overy partner who was hired last year to launch a UK law practice.
Simpson Thacher expects to finalise another associate appointment in a matter of days.
