Addleshaws scores new sports client

Addleshaw Goddard has picked up a new football client, having been appointed main adviser to football data handler FootballDataCo.

The company, which is run as a joint venture between the Football Association Premier League and the Football League, deals with the handling, licensing and rights protection for fixture lists, player names and squad numbers, as well as real time game data.
