The UK legal sector is the area of commerce and industry least affected by junk e-mails, according to statistics for the UK released by MessageLabs, the e-mail scanning company.
On average, lawyers receive only one piece of electronic junk mail, or ‘spam’ for every 1,230 e-mails they receive – a figure that is on the rise, but which remains significantly smaller than cross-sector averages for the UK.
