Leading legal pair named on Dutch corporate governance committee

Arie Westerlaken A leading Dutch in-house lawyer has joined a high profile group of businesspeople charged with overhauling The Netherlands’ regime for audit regulation and corporate governance.

Philips’ general counsel Arie Westerlaken is one of two lawyers to join a 10-member body under the chair of Unilever chairman Morris Tabaksblat. He joins Jaap Winter, a partner at law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.
