When Nick Deeming joined industrial and medical gas producer BOC 18 months ago he was confronted with a legal department that was badly out of sync with the business it served.
Deeming, who sits on the executive management board at BOC, has more than 15 years’ experience in-house having worked at Sema, Schlumberger and Axa PPP Healthcare. Almost as soon as he joined the group he set in motion an ambitious restructuring process that culminated in the launch of the BOC Global Legal Services at the end of last year.
